Introductory four week special $95
For first-time students, or those who would like to try out our studio. Choose either a class in wheel throwing or hand building, both offered on Mondays. Clay, glaze, firings and instruction are all included.
Wheel Throwing
Monday 7-9pm / Instructor Sheila Loggan
Form and shape pots an the wheel, making bowls, cylinders and mugs. Also learn to attach handles, carve and decorate.
Hand Building
Monday 7:30-9:30pm / Instructor Corinne Gelhaye
Use textured slab, coil and pinch techniques.

Monday Hand Building
7:30-10pm Instructor Corinne Gelhaye
Slab, coil and pinch techniques. New projects are offered every month. Projects range from decorative and artisitic to functional pottery such as cups, bowls and plates.
Tuesday Advanced Wheel Throwing
6:30-9:00 Instructor Dave Alexander
Experienced potters learn more about form, surface design and continue with exploring their own ideas and style of work. Two new projects offered and demonstrated monthly.
Tuesday Sculpture
6:30-9pm Instructor Jane Schupay
We will start with the Creative Process to create unique designs of the human body, animals, geometric, architectural and other figures significant to each participant. Sculpture principles including adding/ subtracting the clay, proportion, planes to create light/shadow, coiling, carving, etc. are applied
Techniques of construction will be covered to ensure safe firing. Armatures and glazing appropriate for each form will be discussed and applied as needed.
6:30-9pm Instructor Linda Fahey
4 week Introductory Class for $95 which includes either a stepping stone or outdoor picture. Join monthly for $80 plus a materials fee. Have your own idea? Bring it in, and Linda will guide you through the project.
Thursday Beginning and Intermediate Wheel Throwing 6:30-9pm Instructor Margaret Tassi
Work on building good basic throwing skills and techniques. Learn and understand simple forms like bowls, mugs, plates and vases. New projects and demonstrations given monthly.
Thursday Mixed Levels Wheel Throwing
9:30-12noon Instructor Margaret Tassi
Work on building basic throwing skills and techniques. Projects are offered just as in the other classes, but might be adjusted to meet one's own experience level. Two new projects offered and demonstrated monthly.
Sculpture Workshop for Beginners: First Saturday of each month, 10-2pm (1/2 hour lunch on your own) / Instructor Jane Schupay
$40 for members, $50 for non-members. All materials provided. Pre-registration is required.
