ADULT CLASSES AND MEMBERSHIPS
Clay Creations is a studio that offers classes in wheel throwing, hand building, clay sculpture and mosaics. We also offer monthly memberships for people that would prefer to work independently without taking a class. We welcome all experience levels. Our studio has a wheel room (12 potter’s wheels), hand building room, painting, kiln and drying room. We offer well over 100 high and low fire glazes. All firings and glazes are included in the studio fees. Additionally, each student and member receives a storage space for their clay, tools and ceramics.
Introductory 4 week special for first time students - Cost $95 Choose a class in wheel throwing, hand building or clay sculpture
Instruction, clay, firings and glaze included. Wheel throwing: Thursday 7-9pm and Sunday 3:30-5:30pm. Hand building with clay: Monday 7:30-9:30pm / Clay sculpture: Tuesday 7-9pm
Beginning and Intermediate wheel throwing - Monthly $103
Class is ongoing:
Prerequisite: 4 week introduction class (unless prior experience)
Wednesday and Thursday 6:30-9:00pm. Instructors Margaret Tassi / Georgene Sanchez
Weekly demonstrations and projects offered. The focus for this class is basic throwing
techniques and form. All glaze, firings and unlimited open studio hours are included.

Hand building with Clay - Monthly $103
Class is ongoing:
Monday 7:30-10pm Instructor Corinne Gelhaye
All experience levels welcome. Learn to create from slabs, coiled and free forms. Projects are offered with step by step instruction. Also taught are the fundamentals of surface decorating and glazing. All glaze, firings & unlimited open studio hours are included. (Option: Class without open studio time / $90 per month)
Clay Sculpture - Monthly $103
Class is ongoing:
Tuesday 6:30pm-9:00pm Instructor Jane Schupay
All experience levels welcome. Explore the association of images in clay. Work on figures, shapes, contrast, balance, texture,light, shadow and movement. Human anatomy is also taught. All glaze, firings and unlimited open studio hours are included.
(Option: Class without open studio time / $90 per month).
Mosaic workshop - Monthly $40 / plus material cost

All experience levels welcome. Use glass, tiles, and gems to create beautiful works of art. Learn to cut, nip, grout and create patterns on a surface of your choosing. We provide stepping stones and tables to choose from or you may bring in something of your own to mosaic.

Monthly memberships (for the experienced)
Monthly membership: Monthly $95
Have access to the studio to do your own work independently. Open 7 days per week. Check schedule for open studio hours. Membership includes all firing and glazes.
Cannot commit to a weekly program? Pay as you go
$30 per class, plus one free open studio pass. All glaze and firings included.
$225 buys a series of 8 classes with 8 free open studio passes. All glaze and firings included.
Drop in: One day pass $20. Everyone is welcome to come to our studio. If it’s just one time or without a series of classes this is an option for you. The access to the studio is on an independent basis without instruction. Firing of your work is included but glaze & clay are additional charges. Buy a series of 4 passes for $70.
Open Key Membership: Members that would like 24 hour/ 7 day per week access to the studio may do so for $180 per month. You will receive a key to the studio to come and go as you wish.
Private Lesson: Really focus in on skill and technique, schedule a one hour lesson. Cost $35
Open studio hours for members and students:
Monday – Friday 9-1pm/Monday 7:30-10pm / Tuesday - Friday 6:30-9pm /Saturday & Sunday 12-6pm
